Robin Hood & The Babes in The Wood

Runway Theatre Company requested a modern, vibrant and bold poster for their upcoming Christmas Pantomime. The original concept was for the 2 entities in the title, Robin Hood and The Babes in the Wood which were originally to be styled slightly differently. This was altered towards the end of the concept phase of the project by request of the artistic director. The design evolved throughout the concept and became more organic in look and feel. The fonts on the title were revised to give more of a hand crafted look and the arrow device used was toned down from a 3D arrow into a gently stylised version. The banner at the bottom was introduced to promote the show’s unique selling point of being a traditional Scottish Pantomime.
